Launch Party

As far as launch parties go, they can be a little weird. Some like suits, ties, and catered corporate crap. Not us.

We got setup in the Old Speedway Meadow in San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park with 150 beers and a table with some shirts, stickers and koozies. We didn’t expect much out of it, as we’re still trying to grow and get the word out a little more, but it was better than anything we could have hoped for. It was a mighty group of boozers that graced us with their presence.

Shirts started to fly off the table, and beer after beer started to leave the coolers. Before we knew it, the afternoon rolled around and we were trashed. It was a wild time. We had games of stump going, shotgun circles, liquor, and all kinds of crazy shit. Our good pals from Drunk Dom and the Roaches showed up to partake as well. They may not have gotten the opportunity to play, but they still came to party. Neil even hopped on his chopper for some burnouts in the grass between beer showers.

It was the best kind of fucked up there is. Nothing beats seeing your friends covered in beer in the San Francisco sunshine with ear to ear smiles. It was everything we had hoped for, and it turned out to be a classic Freako Suave style party. When the time came to say goodbye, there wasn’t a drop of beer left to drink. All 150 beers been either drank or poured on the heads of good friends to help get a better tan.

To everyone that came to support, thank you. You guys made it all worth while and we’re definitely going to do it again. Special thanks to Hal, Adam, and Blair for letting us use their cars to get all of our shit there. We couldn’t have done it without you.
